The acronym VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. It can also be referred to as Voice over Networks or (VoN), Voice over Broadband (VoB) and sometimes just simply Internet Telephony. By using VoIP technology you can make free, or very low cost, telephone calls over the world wide web. This then gives you the facility to  call any telephone in the world and similarly any telephone can call you - irrespective of what equipment or network the person or business you are calling uses.

One of the biggest advantages this gives you is that because VoIP uses, digital, internet technologies (sip) many new unique features and facilities that were previously impossible, or just very expensive using traditional telephone technology, now come into your reach. Using VoIP  means  that you can access many free features such as voicemail, voicemails sent to your email, music on hold, call diverts and a whole myriad of practical features to improve and increase the productivity of your business
